Design in the Eye

Monday, November 22nd, 2010

Open an image of an eye.

Feel free to adjust the curves, levels or hues or the image.

(I brought my levels down to 50, just to make it a little darker)

Create a new layer. Name it “design”.

Select your brush tool from the tools palette.

Choose a design brush you would like to use. I chose this (a fire design):

I chose #fc0505 for my color of the brush.

On your design layer, paint the design on.

Feel free to put a few designs in.

Select your eraser tool, and erase where the design overlaps on the skin.

Set the design layer to Multiply.

Press Command J to duplicate the design layer, and set that layer to Color Burn at 75% Opacity.

Repeat this process with however many designs you want to put in the eye.
